Brief

In the summer of 2020, I discovered GT sport: “The Real Racing Simulator.”

More exciting than racing was the fact that GT Sport included one of the most advanced car decal livery editors and photo engines.

This allowed me to fuse two passions of mine: Graphic Design and automobiles. GT sport has a thriving community of designers and car enthusiasts alike. Thus, its target audience spans a wide spectrum with varying interests.

The in-game editor exclusively accepts SVG image formats 15kb and under. This design restraint, allowed me to understand how SVGs (Scalable Vector Graphics) are constructed from a fundamental technical level. This required me to leverage Adobe Illustrator and discover clever and creative ways to create, modify, and implement these SVG decals, which would otherwise be well beyond the 15kb limit.
