About YPLA
KBT (Kehilat Bnei Torah) is a new Kehila and shul powerhouse on Pico Robertson started by Rabbi Shlomo
Yisraeli in 2022.
B"H The shul has seen tremendous growth and impact for the Sephardic and Pico Community in the
relatively short 6 months it was on Pico.
About the Campaign
KBT embarked on its first fundraising campaign, aimed at securing its spot
within the dynamic Pico Community while also fostering financial resources for future growth.
Initially targeting a $450,000 goal, the campaign experienced an early surge in momentum thanks to early
backers and donor engagement. The campaign's videos resonated strongly, captivating a proactive audience
even prior
to the campaign's official launch. This groundswell of interest prompted an upward adjustment of the
campaign goal to $500,000, accompanied by an ambitious "Dream Goal" of $613,000.
The outcome exceeded all expectations. The campaign not only met and surpassed its revised goal but also
achieved the aspirational Dream Goal, amassing an impressive total of $628,416. This remarkable
accomplishment underscores the power of strategic engagement, community support, and the effectiveness
of the campaign videos and graphics - propelling KBT into
a promising new phase of growth and impact.

The primary objective of the main video, especially in KBT's case, is to provide viewers with essential information, including:

This video was an adaptation by another Videographer. I leveraged the existing interview and footage into more efficient and shorter form factor.

Navigating KBT's first fundraiser was an enlightening experience. Our dual objective was clear:
anchoring KBT within the dynamic Pico Community and nurturing avenues for future expansion.
Commencing at $450,000, rapid momentum surged from early supporters and engaged donors. Notably,
impactful campaign videos generated anticipation even pre-launch. This groundswell led to a revised
$500,000 goal, accompanied by an audacious "Dream Goal" of $613,000.
The result? Beyond expectations. Surpassing both targets, we reached an impressive $628,416. This
victory underscores strategic engagement, community support, and visual and storytelling prowess of my campaign videos and graphics.
