About LINK Kollel
In 2002, Rabbi Asher Brander identified a need in West Los Angeles to create
a powerhouse of Torah – one that would be as indispensable to searching, secular Jews as to those
observant for many years. Thus, the Los Angeles Intercommunity Kollel with its manifold objectives was
born.
Since its inception twenty years ago LINK has touched thousands of lives, and has made an indelible
impression upon the landscape of the Los Angeles Jewish community. LINK is dedicated to creating a true
Makom Torah which will serve as a beacon of light emanating from Los Angeles. In addition, LINK is
committed to heightening Jewish pride and identity through a large number of creative programs and
educational initiatives.
About the Campaign
The central aim of the campaign was to garner financial resources to sustain LINK's annual budget of
about $1 million. This strategic initiative was strategically themed to accentuate LINK's extensive
footprint within the greater Los Angeles community, effectively showcasing the wide-reaching scope of
its influence.
Additionally, the visual theme of the campaign was nature and specifically, water. Water is often
equated to Torah, with its ability to provide nourishment and life to anyone who consumes it.
Just like the photo below of the rock formation in Utah - how water over thousands of years helped shape the rock into its distinctive shape, water too can beautiful streams of transformations.
Like water, Torah can shape and transform people's lives, causing a ripple effect in the LA Pico
community.

Reflection
This marked my fourth and most ambitious collaboration with LINK Kollel.
With an increased number of donors and heightened donations, the campaign's remarkable success was a
testament to the impactful role of the videos within the community. As LINK consistently raises the bar
annually through its programming, growth, and events, I strived to encapsulate and reflect this
progressive spirit in the videos.
Each video encapsulates a distinct viewpoint and experience, illustrating the extensive influence that
LINK wields across diverse Jewish backgrounds and origins.
Working on this project with LINK Kollel has been an immensely gratifying experience, and I am truly
thankful for the opportunity to contribute to their impactful endeavors.
